Coaching Education

The USOC Coaching Education Department is committed to supporting NGBs by providing cutting-edge information and training opportunities to contribute expertise necessary to direct Team USA athletes to national and international success.

Nutrition

Fueling athletes for performance and health is the major goal of sport nutrition at the US Olympic Committee. We are a team of sports dietitians located at US Olympic training sites in Colorado and California and work closely with National Governing Bodies and their athletes to provide sport nutrition programs through the annual training and competition season. This commonly includes full nutritional assessments early season, individual work through the year, and educational team sessions with hands-on experiences. We also test physiological parameters as they relate to nutrition and help athletes to get ready for travel and competition abroad and at home.

Sports Medicine

Medical Services strives to provide the highest quality comprehensive health care to elite and national team athletes with the goal of achieving sustained competitive excellence.

Psychology

The USOC Sport Psychology Professional Team works with National Team Coaches and athletes to support Olympic success.  Our staff believes that exceptional mental skills are necessary for exceptional Olympic performances, and we work with NGBs to help build those skills.

Physiology
