USA Men's Rugby Team in Fort Lauderdale preparing for upcoming match, lending a hand with Thanksgiving Turkey Drive

Who: THE U.S. MEN'S NATIONAL RUGBY TEAM is in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., preparing for its upcoming Rugby World Cup Qualifier match against Uruguay on Saturday, November 21.

What: Interviews, photos and/or video footage can be obtained in the days leading up to the event, but USA Rugby has set up a special LOCAL MEDIA EVENT on Friday afternoon at the Broward County Regional Park in which the team will help out with the local Thanksgiving Turkey Drive.

When: The Teams (USA and Uruguay) will be on hand at the main stadium at 2:00-4:00 PM for their OFFICIAL TEAM WALK-THROUGH, and the U.S. Team will come back at 4:30-6:30 PM to help distribute 3000-4000 turkeys to 30-40 local schools for the THANKSGIVING TURKEY DRIVE.

Where: BROWARD COUNTY REGIONAL PARK - Main Stadium (3700 NW 11th Place, Lauderhill, FL 33311).

RWCQ Match Information: The USA goes into this Rugby World Cup Qualifier match just five points ahead of Uruguay after winning its last meeting in Montevideo, 27-22, on Saturday, November 14. Thanksgiving Turkey Drive Information: The Team of Life is a Florida non-profit charitable organization with a 501(C)(3) tax-exempt status and has a goal of distributing 20,000 turkey dinners throughout South Florida this holiday season.
