U.S. Men's Volleyball Update: FIVB Announces Pools for 2010 Worlds

The U.S. Men's Volleyball Team will play in a pool with Argentina, Mexico and Venezuela in the opening round of the 2010 FIVB World Championship, which is scheduled to be played Sept. 24-Oct. 10 in a host of Italian cities.
The FIVB held the drawing of lots on Wednesday in the Petrassi Hall of the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome, which will host the final medal round of the 2010 Men's World Championship.
A total of 24 countries were drawn across six pools for the first round of the 17th edition of the tournament, which will also be held in Milan, Ancona, Catania, Florence, Modena, Reggio Calabria, Turin, Trieste, Verona and Rome. The U.S. Men's pool will play in Reggio Calabria.
