I just read the story about how the USOC mistreated Scott Lago and I find it totally appalling -- not only the hypocrisy of self-rigtheous cronies, but all of the deliberate attempts to lie, mislead, and deceive. They should be the ones kicked out of Vancouver. I won't support anything USOC or even watch NBC olympics again. |

Awesome winter olympics Team USA! Very proud of all of you. But why do I now know O'Canada better then our national anthem. The USOC should make sure you all know our Anthem. You earned a place on our teams, you represent us. You should sing just as proudly as the Canadians. |

you guys may have won at the top of the medal count again but when it comes to gold we are the best in the world we did come in third but where tops in gold and to Nancy Glenns opinion what is wrong with our national anthem we are the most dominant force in the world. I am very proud to be Canadian. And when it comes to hockey you guys should stick to baseball and nascar and leave the hockey to us.Hockey was invented in my country. You think you are good in everything. Sorry but you guys suck when it comes to hockey Ron Wilson and Brian Burke are gm and coach of Toronto and look how they are doing. WE ARE THE MOST POWERFUL FORCE IN THE WORLD WHEN IT COMES TO HOCKEY MENS AND WOMEN. AND THE UNITED STATES BETTER NOT FORGET IT HOCKEY IS OUR GAME AND IT ALWAYS WILL BE OUR GAME WE GOT SCREWED ON THE WORLD JUNIORS SO WE ARE OWE SOME PAYBACK. HOCKEY IS OUR GAME !!!!! What a wonderful 2 weeks it has been for many proud Americans and Canadians, our good neighbors to the North. I have not had the opportunity to visit Canada but watching the Olympics sure has me wanting to visit. I agree with Nancy Glenn's comments and would like to see the US Olympic Committee make more of an effort in encouraging our athletes to sing our beautiful National Anthem. They work so hard to represent our country but then stand on the podium and act like they do not know the song they have been taught since they were young. I just think it would be the most ultimate high to stand tall on the Olympic podium receiving a gold medal and watch my countries national flag wave high with me singing the words. You know the cameras are all over you and how proud your family watching must feel. It gave me goose bumps to watch and listen to the Canadians sing their anthem with such pride and a little disappointment to not see the same from my countrymen and women. It is the same each year. I keep hoping that coaches or the USOC will notice. Look forward to the next Olympics and the very talented men and woman of the USA. |
