OPEN MEETING

USA HOCKEY COMPLIANCE REVIEW

The United States Olympic Committee (USOC) would like to invite all interested parties to attend a public meeting to discuss USA Hockey's compliance with the Ted Stevens Olympic Amateur Sports Act and USOC Bylaws.  This meeting is part of the USOC's obligation to routinely review all NGBs' compliance. The meeting will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2009, from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., Mountain Time.  It will take place in the President's Conference room at the Olympic Training Center, 1 Olympic Plaza, Colorado Springs, Colorado.  If you are not able to attend in person, we invite you to participate via telephone conferencing.  You may do so by dialing toll-free (866) 205-3978, access code 9969956.

In an effort to make this meeting productive and valuable for all, we ask that your comments, be clear and concise and limited to a minimum of three to five minutes.  This will ensure everyone has a chance to speak.

USA Hockey is not expected to respond to every question. Instead, the USOC will compile public comments/questions to determine if potential compliance issues exist.  Following the meeting, the USOC will work with USA Hockey to address any outstanding issues.

Any individual seeking information concerning this meeting may contact Eric Parthen, USOC Director, NGB Organizational Development, or his Administrative Assistant, Francesca Carrick, at 719/866-4545.
