Stock Footage Policy

General:
Before any footage can by used, the USOC must have a signed copy of a license agreement. Please keep in mind that the USOC can not license nor provide any audio (on master material) without prior written approval from appropriate sources. **Once the license agreement has been signed, the license fee is NOT refundable, even if the clips are not used.

Ordering:
When ordering a screening reel, please allow a turn around time of 5-7 days for delivery. When ordering master clips from a screening reel, please allow 2-3 business days for delivery. The USOC must have a signed license agreement before any Olympic Games footage can be released.

License Fees:
License fees are based on type of use, length of term, and distribution. Once you submit your request we will advise you of the fees that pertain to your particular use.

Credit:
An on-screen, visual credit must appear at the end of the production. The specific credit required is outlined in the footage license agreement.

Return of Materials:
The client must return all master materials with in two weeks of the completion, or cancellation of the project.

Copy of Final Production:
The client will provide a true and accurate copy of the final edited version of the video containing the licensed clips. The USOC retains the rights to approve/disapprove the final version of the production prior to any release, or airing of the footage.
