Northwestern Wildcats to conclude USA Wrestling’s College Wrestling Google+ Hangout Series Monday, Feb. 10

USA Wrestling is concluding its 2013-14 College Wrestling Google+ Hangout On Air Series with special guests from Northwestern University on Monday, February 10 at 3:00 p.m. EST.

Joining USA Wrestling on the Northwestern Hangout panel will be Head Coach of the Wildcats Drew Pariano alongside wrestlers Jason Tsirtsis and Mike McMullan.

Head Coach Drew Pariano is in his third season at the helm of the Wildcat program boasting impressive marks in his talented young career. Pariano helped coach two wrestlers to NCAA Championships in his time at Northwestern and most recently saw Jason Welch and Mike McMullan reach the NCAA Finals in 2013.

Redshirt-Freshman for the Wildcats Jason Tsirtsis is having an excellent 2013-14 campaign already notching 20 victories to only three losses this season. Tsirtsis was a member of the 2013 FILA Junior World Team, representing the United States in Sofia, Bulgaria last August.

Entering his junior season at Northwestern, Mike McMullan has earned both a second and third place finish at the NCAA Championships. McMullan is currently ranked No. 1 in the country, also having avenged his loss in the NCAA Finals to Two-Time NCAA Champion Tony Nelson in overtime on Jan. 10.
