Representing USA Wrestling are women's freestyle wrestler Iris Smith and men's freestyle wrestler Jordan Rogers. Smith won a gold medal at the CISM Military World Championships in Finland, the first year which women were included. Rogers won a silver medal in men's freestyle at the first Youth Olympic Games held in Singapore.

Position: 76 kg/167.5 lbs. in freestyle wrestling
Rogers won a silver medal in freestyle wrestling at 76 kg/167.5 lbs. at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games on Aug. 17 in Singapore.
Rogers lost to Resul Kalayci of Turkey in the gold-medal match.
Rogers made quick work of his first opponent, Victorin Kouagou of Benin. He followed with a close victory against Egypt's Amr Ali, and also topped Christopher Aguon of Guam to win his pool competition.
Later in the YOG, Rogers placed fourth in the Beach Wrestling competition in the Above 70 kg/154 lbs. division.
Rogers will be a junior at Mead High School in Spokane, Wash. He was a 2010 Cadet Nationals champion in both freestyle and Greco-Roman. Rogers also claimed a 2010 FILA Cadet Nationals title in freestyle. Position: 72 kg/158.5 lbs. in women's freestyle wrestling
Smith won a gold medal at 72 kg/158.5 lbs. in women's freestyle wrestling at the CISM World Military Championships on Aug. 14 in Lahti, Finland. It was the first time that women's freestyle has been contested at the CISM World Military Games.
Smith, a 2005 World Champion in women's freestyle, won three straight matches in a challenging four-athlete round-robin, featuring three other top international stars. Her toughest match may have come in her first bout when she defeated Lijun Yang of China, 1-1, 0-1, 3-0.
Among Smith's key wins was a 1-0, 1-0 victory over 2008 Olympic silver medalist Agnieszka Wieszczek of Poland in her second bout. Smith won her final match against Volha Khilko of Belarus, 3-0, 5-3.
Smith wrestles for the U.S. Army's World Class Athlete Program.
