Century named official sponsor of 2009 Grappling World Championships

Century of Midwest City, Okla., the world's largest martial art supplier, has been named as an official sponsor of the 2009 Grappling World Championships, which will be held in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Dec. 11-13.

Century is providing support for the competition, as well as equipment for the U.S. Grappling World Team which will participate in the event.

Century began producing martial art products in 1976 and is today recognized as the largest supplier of martial arts products in the world. The FILA Grappling World Championships will be held at the Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center. Competition in No-Gi Grappling will be held on Saturday, Dec. 12 and the Gi Grappling competition is set for Sunday, Dec. 13.
