High School Wrestler of the Week: Matt Grice of Harrah, Okla.

Grice won the 152-pound title at the Oklahoma State High School Championships in Class 4A. It was Grice's fourth career Oklahoma state title, making him one of just 12 athletes from the state to win four state titles. He was named the Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament, the third time in his career that he has received that award at the state meet. Grice wrestled 12 matches during his career at the state championships and recorded five falls, five technical falls and two major decisions. He will attend the Univ. of Oklahoma next year.

College Wrestler of the Week: K.C. Rock of Boise State University.

Rock won the gold medal at 125 pounds at the 2000 PAC-10 Wrestling Championships held in Davis, Calif. Rock was named Outstanding Wrestler after pinning all four of his opponents. He also received the Most Falls Trophy. His victims included Zac Enoch of Portland State (2:07), Rudy Ruiz of Stanford (6:36), Nathan Navarro of Oregon State (6:36) and, in the gold-medal finals, Michael Kawamura of Arizona State (2:55). Rock was one of three individual champions for Boise State, which won its first PAC-10 team title.

International Wrestler of the Week: Dominic Black of the U.S. Army

Black won a silver medal at 213.75 pounds at the Freestyle Olympic Qualification Tournament in Tokyo, Japan, Feb. 26-27. Black earned the United States an important 16 points toward Olympic qualification at the weight class. Black had a 3-1 record in the tournament. He won his pool competition, defeating Hiroshi Kosuge of Japan by technical fall, 11-0, then stopping Rolf Scherrer of Switzerland, 4-0. In the semifinals, he defeated Agvaansamdan Sukhbat of Mongolia, 3-1. In the gold medal match, Black lost by technical fall to 1994 World Champion Arawat Sabejew of Germany, 10-0.
