Each week, TheMat.com will select an Athlete of the Week, based upon performance within wrestling for that week. The selection committee will consider any level of wrestling, from youth programs through the Senior level.

Miller scored on two pushouts to down World champion Elena Pirozhkova 2-1 in the Dave Schultz Memorial International women’s freestyle finals on Saturday afternoon.

Miller won the title at 69 kg/152 lbs. at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.

Miller earned her second Schultz title after winning here in 2007. She stepped away from wrestling after winning a bronze medal at the 2008 Olympics before returning to the mat this season.
