2012 Olympic Games Athlete Selection Procedures-This document as posted was amended November 28, 2011 to exclude the 2012 National University (Collegiate) Championships as a qualification event for the Olympic Games and is pending final approval by the USOC.
-2012 Olympic Qualification Totals. The final qualification totals for the Olympic Team selection will be the 2007-2011 World/Championships/Olympic Games 3rd place total averages, calculated on the basis of such results for each gender and bodyweight category, current as of the day, date and time specified below:
- Women – Results posted on the IWF website as of Thursday, March 1, 2012, 7:00 AM ET
- Men – Results posted on the IWF website as of Thursday, May 10, 2012, 7:00 AM ET.
QUALIFICATION TOTALS - To be updated after each relevant International Event.
RANKING - To be updated after each qualifying event.
