The Games of the XXXI Olympiad in Rio de Janeiro were full of surprises. Here are our top 10 favorite moments from the Games.

Weightlifting's greatest decked out in Team USA shirt during Morghan King's Olympic Debut. Dimas joins USA Weightlifting as Technical Director.

9. Kendrick Farris' Diet Gets the Attention of the Media


Farris' vegan lifestyle made him the subject of stories in magazines and TV shows around the world.

7. Jenny Arthur Pauses for GQ Photo Shoot


Arthur enjoyed a day at the beach and is featured on GQ.com's "Rio the Beautiful" section.

6. Morghan King Carries Her Team in Tug-of-War on TODAY Show

After going for Gold on the platform, King carried her team to victory on national television.

5. Kendrick Farris Competes in Third Olympic Games

Farris isn't ruling out a fourth Olympic Games, telling USA Weightlifting that Tokyo is still very much on the table

4. Sarah Robles Goes 6 for 6

Robles' lift of a lifetime included a perfect 6-for-6 in all of her lifts. 

3. Jenny Arthur Sets New American Record

Arthur's 107kg snatch broke the record set in 2006 by Doreen Fullhart.

2. Morghan King Breaks 16-Year-Old American Record

King's 83kg snatch broke a record set in 2000 by Tara Nott, who would win Olympic Gold a few weeks later in Sydney.

1. Sarah Robles Wins Bronze, Ending 16-Year Olympic Medal Drought

Robles' performance inspired a nation and a new generation of weightlifters.
