2013 Youth World Championships US Women’s Team Supervising Assistant/Chaperone Position
The USAW Board of Directors has approved the addition of a Supervising Assistant/Chaperone for the US Women’s team competing in the 2013 Youth World Championships.
This assigned female staff member will travel to Tashkent, Uzbekistan on or about April 4 as part of the team, returning on April 14, and will be responsible for assisting the Team Leader and assigned coaching staff on site in the support and supervision of the US women’s team members during the competition period.
Due to the limited time available to USAW in which to select a qualified person for this position, and the need for a rapid response, interested applicants should forward their expression of interest to be received as soon as possible, but not later than Monday, February 25, since travel at the most reasonable cost, and other related arrangements, must be made for this additional staff member, together with the final selection of team members and coaching staff.
Candidate selection will be based on the applicant's background and experience in international competition as an athlete, international coaching, experience as a team manager, background and experience supervising teenagers and Youth athletes, and other related experience.
Interested applicants should detail their individual backgrounds relative to the above specific requirements in their submission.
Expressions of interest may be emailed to High Performance Director Peter Roselli, at Peter.Roselli@usaweightlifting.org.
