How do I renew my Club Coach certification?

Is my Club Coach certification still valid?

Yes, at this time the Club Coach certification is still recognized by USAW as a current coaching status.

Is it possible to renew my certification before my current one expires?

Yes, you can renew your current certification online up to 2 months before it expires. Any earlier, it will not be accepted.

Are there any more Club Coach Certification Courses being offered?

No, we have discontinued the Club Coach Certification Course and are now offering the Level 1 Sports Performance Course in its place.

What if I don't have a computer to take the test and recertify?

If you don't have a computer where you can access your account and recertify online, please contact the National Office.

I already completed the background check. Why does my status say 'Pending'?

The system does not update the background check status automatically when you renew. If you completed the background check at any time in the past two years, you will need to contact the National Office to have the status updated to 'Complete'.

My CPR status says 'Pending'. How do I update this?

We are not requiring proof of CPR certification until 2012. Contact the National Office to have your CPR status updated in your membership.

I failed the recertification test. What do I do?

If you do not pass the test, you can take the test one more time by contacting the National Office. If you do not pass the second time, you will need to retake the course in order to be certified.
