USA Weightlifting logos are registered with the US Patent & Trademark office.
Only sponsors and authorized National event organizers are granted use to the logo, no other entity should be using our logo.
The sport of Olympic Style Weightlifting is exclusive to the Olympic Games, by interjecting the word style. By using terminology such as ‘We teach Olympic Lifting ’ or'Olympic Weightlifting' , the word OLYMPIC is more commercial, and strengthens the public’s perception into believing that the facility has been endorsed by the United States Olympic Commitee (USOC) or the International Olympic Committee (IOC). However, calling a training session 'Olympic-style ,' lessens the overt Olympic reference, and lets the person know that they are receiving a type of training that is unique to the Olympic Games.
