He directed the Nebraska volleyball team to forty-three NCAA tournament victories and the school’s first National Championship in women’s volleyball 1995. Erik Sullivan's Olympic Team Journey Insights

Libero Erik Sullivan played for the USA team for years and in two Olympics, and he will share his stories and insights with our current USA Volleyball players in another webinar segment of Olympic volleyball players. After an outstanding college career at UCLA as an outside hitter (winning two national titles), he received the FIVB Worlds Best Libero award one year. He then began giving back to the sport as a collegiate coach since 2004 and is currently an assistant coach at the University of Texas.

Presented by USA Volleyball Arizona Region Director of Grassroots Development, Eric Hodgson and USAV Director of Sport Development John Kessel.  The focus is on Eric’s “Dream Vacation” this May which included the NCAA Men’s National Championship with UCI defeating USC 3-0 with 9,700 in attendance and the Coaches Convention, including Marv Dunphy and Al Scates...then a 12 and under tourney at the Epic VB Club in San Diego, and the NORCECA Men’s Olympic Qualifier and Women’s National Team Practice in advance of the Grand Prix.  Several player and coach interview highlights and many other lessons learned which apply to all levels of coaches will be shared.
