U.S. Men's Update: Scrimmage No. 2
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Sept. 6, 2013) – Nineteen U.S. men’s volleyball players will scrimmage at 7 p.m. on Saturday (Sept. 7) at Tustin (Calif.) High School.

The 19 are vying for spots on the 12-man U.S. roster for the NORCECA Continental Championship on Sept. 23-29 in Langley, B.C., Canada.
Among the players competing in Saturday’s scrimmage will be 2008 Olympic gold medalists Rich Lambourne, David Lee, Reid Priddy and Sean Rooney. Priddy is a three-time Olympian while Lambourne, Lee and Rooney have played twice at the Games. Players and staff will be available for autographs and photos after the match.
Also on the roster are 2012 Olympians Matt Anderson, Russell Holmes, Paul Lotman and David Smith.
The U.S. Men, ranked No. 5 in the world, will be looking to win their eighth NORCECA Continental Championship in September. The NORCECA winner will qualify for the FIVB Grand Champions Cup on Nov. 19-24 in Japan.
