Prince Chiropractic Partners with U.S. National Sitting Volleyball Teams

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (June 4, 2013) – USA Volleyball has announced it has entered into an agreement with Prince Chiropractic as it becomes “An Official Provider of Chiropractic Care for USA Volleyball Sitting National Teams.”

“I'm honored to be able to work with the men and women of the Sitting National Teams,” said Dr. Daniel Prince of Edmond, Okla.,-based Prince Chiropractic. “I get to work with world-class athletes and coaches who represent us on the international stage. As a military veteran, I'm proud to support USA Volleyball in this capacity.”

“USA Volleyball is pleased to partner with Prince Chiropractic to provide first class medical support services to our sitting national team athletes,” USA Volleyball Secretary General Kerry Klostermann said. “Prince Chiropractic’s generous support assists our athletes in achieving international success as they compete against the best in the world.”

The U.S. Women’s and Men’s National Sitting Volleyball Teams train at the University of Central Oklahoma, which is located in Edmond, Okla. The U.S. Women’s National Sitting Volleyball Team has won consecutive Paralympic Games silver medals (2008 in Beijing and 2012 in London), while the U.S. Men’s National Sitting Volleyball Team is among the best squads within the Parapan zone.

“It is not always easy to garner the best care and functional preparation our athletes deserve, but Prince Chiropractic has proven to provide the outstanding care we desire,” U.S. Women’s and Men’s Sitting Volleyball Team Head Coach and Program Director Bill Hamiter said. “Dr. Prince understands the unique situations our athletes engender and provides world-class care so our athletes compete at their optimum levels.”
