This tryout will also serve as the selection basis for the U.S. Women’s National Volleyball Senior A2 Team and potential athletes to train with the U.S. Women’s National Volleyball Team this summer.
For athletes still in high school, USA Volleyball has set up five preferred tryouts specifically for athletes who want to compete for spots on the 2013 U.S. Women’s Junior National Volleyball Team. The first preferred tryout is on March 1 at Denver, followed by March 7 at Las Vegas, Nev., March 21 at Indianapolis, March 28 at Atlanta and April 11 at Dallas.
Athletes can attend any of the first 25 tryouts on the High Performance tryout schedule and still be considered for selection to the 2013 U.S. Women’s Junior National Volleyball Team. However, the team evaluators will be at those five specific tryout locations. Evaluations for this team conclude on April 11 at the Dallas tryout.
Athletes can try out at any of the 33 USA Volleyball High Performance tryouts held across the country for other U.S. Women’s Junior-age group programs including the U.S. Women’s Junior A1 National Training Team attending the USA Volleyball High Performance Championships and the U.S. Women’s Junior A1 International Training Team attending the European Global Challenge in Pula, Croatia.
