About Data Project
Data Project since its establishment in 1982 has grown from the revolutionary idea of creating a software tool for the statistical scouting of volleyball matches by its founder, Emilio Spirito, who still remains as CEO. Today, Data Project creates several software tools for the management of all aspects of a volleyball match. Data Project’s flagship software is Data Volley, the statistical scouting software most used in the world; its integration with Data Video creates an industry standard for statistical scouting and video analysis software packages. More recently, match and event management tools have expanded the technical impact of Data Project in the sport. e-Scoresheet is the tool for the electronic scoring replacing the paper scoresheet: having gained universal adoption for European volleyball matches, e-Scoresheet is also adapted for men’s and women’s collegiate matches in a multitude of rules packages and used by many colleges and universities at all levels. VideoSharing video exchange service continues to achieve great success among many of the top collegiate conferences growing in popularity each year. Data Project is the leader in developing statistics & video analysis software and supplying services of e-scoring, scouting, in-venue display, broadcasting and telecasting of statistic data to the most important Volleyball Leagues and Federations throughout the world. These great efforts, know-how, specific tools and experience have earned Data Project global recognition as the industry standard for volleyball software.
