ANAHEIM, Calif. (Sept. 20, 2012) – The Happiest Place on Earth is also a place for USA Volleyball sponsors Mizuno and Sport Court to interact with the leaders of international volleyball.

Both companies have booths and representatives at the FIVB World Congress, being held at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim.Officials from Sport Court stand by their display at the FIVB World Congress

“There’s no other place you can be where all the leaders of the sport are in one place at the same time,” Sport Court Marketing Manager Jeff Morton said. “These are the people making the decisions for the industry.

“We not only want to be here to potentially sell some sports floors; we also like to know what’s going on in volleyball and how we can be part of the change the federations are trying to make.”

Brynn Murphy, volleyball promotions coordinator for Mizuno, said it was also important to support USA Volleyball.

“We definitely want to show our support for USA Volleyball. It’s a great partnership that we have,” Murphy said. “But also just the brand exposure and showing that we sponsor the best athletes in the world.”

The most frequently asked question of both companies is how their products can be purchased.

“A lot of people were interested in getting more information about Mizuno,” Murphy said. “They know that it’s high quality and a great volleyball brand. But they want to know how they can get it in their country.

“We’re sending them back to our web site and trying to find the right contact for them.”

Morton has also heard from volleyball federations trying to get his product.

“They want to know how they can get floors,” he said. “They know how we have supported the federations and they want to know how they can be part of that.”

Both companies have enjoyed their time at the Disneyland Hotel.

“Everyone loves coming to Disneyland,” Morton said. “Except for the fact that I’ve been scared to death three times by the characters.”
