COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (May 26, 2012) – The U.S. men’s beach volleyball team of Phil Dalhausser and Todd Rogers will play for the bronze medal on Sunday at the Patria Direct Prague Open in Czech Republic, part of the 2012 FIVB SWATCH World Tour.

Dalhausser (Ormond Beach, Fla.) and Rogers (Santa Barbara, Calif.), seeded No. 1, who had not dropped a set in the tournament, fell in Saturday’s semifinals to Brazil’s Ricardo Santos and Pedro Cunha, ranked eighth, 21-17, 21-19 in 44 minutes.

Dalhausser and Rogers will face Brazil’s sixth-seeded Pedro Solberg and Marcio Araujo in Sunday’s bronze medal match. Santos and Cunha will play Brazil’s fifth-ranked Alison Cerutti and Emanuel Rego for the gold medal.
