COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (March 27, 2012) – The U.S. Men’s National Indoor Volleyball Team will open the 2012 season with two exhibition matches against Argentina on April 27 and 29 at JSerra Catholic High School in San Juan Capistrano, Calif.

Both teams will be preparing for Olympic qualifying tournaments. They will play at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 27 and 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 29 in the JSerra Pavilion.

“These matches will be very important in preparing us for the NORCECA Men’s Continental Olympic Qualifier,” U.S. Head Coach Alan Knipe said. “Argentina always provides us with very tough competition and I encourage our fans to come cheer for our team.”

Players and coaches will be available for autographs following the matches.

The U.S. Men are the defending Olympic champions and ranked sixth in the world. They will host the NORCECA Men’s Continental Olympic Qualifier on May 7-12 in Long Beach, Calif.
