COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (June 4, 2012) - Registration for the Jose Cuervo Pro Beach Series event in Belmar, N.J., is now open to professional beach teams.

The Belmar Open is the second stop of the 2012 Jose Cuervo Pro Beach Series, which is produced by IMG and sanctioned by USA Volleyball. The tournament is slated to run June 23-24.

Registration costs $100 per player (teammates register separately) and is due Wednesday, June 13 at 11:59 p.m. (Pacific Time). A prize purse of $75,000 is on the table between the men’s and women’s divisions. Teams can also earn points toward their USA Volleyball beach player ranking.

The double-elimination main draw will consist of 32 teams. Those seeded No. 1-22 overall will earn automatic entry to main draw. Remaining teams will participate in a single-elimination qualifier on June 22 for the last 10 main draw spots.
