The 2012 London Olympic women's beach volleyball award ceremony took place on Wednesday, Aug. 8. The U.S. beach team of Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh won its third Olympic gold medal while the U.S beach team of April Ross and Jen Kessy won the silver medal in its first-ever Olympic Games. Larissa Franca and Juliana Felisberta of Brazil took home the bronze.
