COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (May 27, 2010) – USA Volleyball is holding three boys’ volleyball clinics in conjunction with the three FIVB World League weekends in the United States.
The first camp will be June 18-19 in Concord, N.C. (outside Charlotte) where the U.S. Men’s National Team is playing Egypt.
The second will be June 25-26 in Hoffman Estates, Ill. (outside Chicago) where the U.S. Men will play Finland.
The third camp will be July 9-10 in Wichita, Kan., where the U.S. Men will face Russia.
Camp participants must be boys ages 12-18 years old and enrolled in middle school or high school in the 2010-11 school year.
Coaches of boys’ team may participate if they have players enrolled in the clinics. Fees for coaches are identical to those for players.
All participants will receive tickets to the World League matches on Friday and Saturday night; a private “meet-and-greet” session with U.S. National Team players on Friday morning following practice observation; access to special seating during the World League matches; a custom promotional pack including a T-shirt and coaching from top USAV and collegiate men’s coaches.
Coaches attending the clinic will have an opportunity to meet with U.S. National Team coaches for a private “chalk talk” session on Saturday evening.
