COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Oct. 23, 2009) – USA Volleyball has signed an exclusive multi-year licensing agreement with WinCraft establishing it as an official licensee of USA Volleyball products in multiple retail, promotional and volleyball club channels.
Products will roll-out beginning in 2009 across USA Volleyball's 40 regions. Mass market and sporting goods retailers will be offered a range of USA Volleyball logo and USA National Team group player identified products beginning in 2010.
“USA Volleyball is very proud to join the distinguished group of licensors that have entered into partnership with WinCraft,” USA Volleyball Secretary General Kerry Klostermann said. “Having our brand associated with the quality products, service, distribution and pricing afforded by WinCraft will further expand our position as the leader in the volleyball sports marketplace.”
WinCraft, a privately held company founded in 1961, is a recognized national leader in retail licensed and promotional products with over 300 licenses including the United States Olympic Committee (USOC), Major League Baseball (MLB), the National Football League (NFL), National Basketball Association (NBA), National Hockey League (NHL) and NASCAR. In addition to professional sports, WinCraft serves colleges, corporations, outdoor and home decorating industries.
“WinCraft is excited to partner with USA Volleyball as it has demonstrated to be one of the most active and professionally managed National Governing Bodies of the Olympic sports movement,” WinCraft President John Killen said. “We expect to build a long, lasting partnership serving volleyball players and fans across the USA.”
The WinCraft product line offers a wide array of licensed items that provide promotional value. It specializes in small production runs, but can also produce mega quantities in a reasonable time frame after each order at a fair price. A sampling of WinCraft’s product inventory includes logo and player-identified flags, banners, decals, stickers, clings, seat cushions, lanyards, clipboards, pennants, buttons, magnets, key rings, mats, pails and wastebaskets.
“This agreement between USA Volleyball and WinCraft will continue to enhance the connection between USA Volleyball as the sport’s National Governing Body, its 40 regions serving 5,100 volleyball clubs across the country and the 245,000-plus members who are part of the USA Volleyball family,” USA Volleyball Board of Directors Chairman David Schreff said. “WinCraft’s quality product line features items that uniquely display an individual’s loyalty to the licensor and that will only enhance our reach and marketing beyond our current members. We expect to serve a greater share of the total 13 million adult and student volleyball players in the USA through this exciting licensing expansion.”
