- The U.S. Women's Sitting Volleyball Team defeated Netherlands 3-0 (25-19, 25-21, 25-21) on Wednesday at Christian Heritage Academy in Northfield, Ill.
The match was played in the practice gym of the Adversity Volleyball Club, which also provided support.

The U.S. Women are the defending Paralympic bronze medalists from 2004, when the Netherlands won silver. Both teams will also be playing at the first World Organization Volleyball for the Disabled (WOVD) Intercontinental Cup on April 22-30 in Cairo, Egypt.
The teams are also playing in the Chicago area to raise awareness of sitting volleyball and the 22 other Paralympic sports.
The two teams will play their final exhibition match at 7 p.m. today (March 20) at the Sky High Athletic Center in Crystal Lake, Ill.
