COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (July 24, 2008) – USA Volleyball is proud to announce an alliance with Dynamite Sports, who joins USAV as an Official Education and Sport Development partner.

Logan Tom, a two-time Olympian and current U.S. Women’s National Team member, has joined Dynamite Sports to help promote and raise awareness of the program. Dynamite Sports’ Web-based program, The Student-Athlete & College Recruiting, consists of three integrated Web sites that provide over 120 videos, Power Point presentations, charts and surveys. The program covers a wide array of educational topics including goal setting, recruiting visits, strength and agility programs, sportsmanship and academic eligibility. The company’s online system will show families how to create their own “Blueprint for Success” to help their student-athletes achieve their ACADEMIC & ATHLETIC goals for college.

“USA Volleyball is pleased to partner with Dynamite Sports to promote the quality educational products offered with respect to college athletic recruiting,” USA Volleyball Secretary General Kerry Klostermann said. “The success a person experiences in securing an athletic scholarship can only be enhanced by having a solid understanding of the process and necessary requirements.”

“Dynamite Sports is truly excited about our new relationship with USA Volleyball,” said Rick Wire, president of Dynamite Sports, Inc. “We look forward to providing much needed education and resources to club teams and their families regarding college athletics and the recruiting process.”

With the purchase of the password protected program, volleyball club teams will be able to provide an “Educational Component” to their athletes and families they previously have not been able to offer. Each club will have its own access to the system, personalized with their club name and logo.

The Student-Athlete & College Recruiting is used by over 2,000 high schools across the United States and Canada.

Program cost per club is based on the number of members 13-and-older. Clubs with under 20 members - $149 per year, followed by $199 per year for clubs with 21-100 members and $249 per year for clubs with over 100 members.
