Anaheim, Calif. (July 20, 2006) - Despite losses in the first two matches of 2006 FIVB World League play, several members of the U.S. Men's National Team are among the leaders in individual categories.

Setter Donald Suxho (Korce, Albania) earned the top honors with Italian setter Valerio Vermiglio and Polish setter Pawel Zagumny, who led his team to two consecutive victories over the American team. The three tied with a set average of 11.50.

In the eight games the U.S. played against Poland in the opening weekend, Suxho had a tournament- high 92 running sets as well as 81 still sets without an error.

U.S. Opposite Clay Stanley (Honolulu, Hawaii) finished the weekend ranked as the third best server in the World League. His five aces, among 30 serves, was a weekend high.

U.S. outside hitter Reid Priddy (Richmond, Va.) finished the weekend ranked as the third highest scorer in the tournament. He had 37 total points from 31 hits and 6 blocks.

Priddy also seized the 10th spot among the best receivers with 65.57 percent efficiency in 61 attempts. Libero Rich Lambourne was ranked 21st with 52.94 percent efficiency in 51 attempts.

Priddy also guided the American team in blocking and spiking with Lambourne leading the way in digging.
