NYAC Team Handball Club Honored at NYAC Champions Dinner

On Monday, November 18, 2013, members of the New York Athletic Club Team Handball team were honored at the Champions Dinner held at the historic institution adjacent to Central Park. The annual dinner is held by the NYAC to celebrate its Olympic, World and National Championship teams. The keynote speaker this year was Bill Cowher, former coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers and CBS color commentator.

On the Saturday morning prior to the event, Tom Fitzgerald, Brad Nelson and Matt Van Houten participated in the NYAC Saturday Morning Program, and taught the sport of team handball to 220 kids between the ages of 6 and 12.
