Pursuant to the Bylaws of USA Team Handball, Article 6, the membership of USA Team Handball shall elect two directors to serve as General Membership Directors. The two candidates with the highest number of points under the weighted voting system shall be elected to the board and their terms shall commence immediately upon election.
The candidate with the highest number of points under the weighted voting system shall serve a term that ends on December 31, 2017 and the candidate with the second highest number of points shall serve a term that ends on December 31, 2015.
The ballot form shall be posted separately on the USA Team Handball website, www.usateamhandball.org.
One must have been a member of USA Team Handball on or before June 12, 2013 (60 days before the start of the election) to be eligible to vote.
In order to vote, please download the ballot form, read the instructions, fill it out and sent it to the USOC Audit Division at the email noted on the ballot. Members may cast only one ballot.
As explained on the ballot form, the weighted voting system is being used. Voters must rank the candidates from one to three, with one being the first preference and three being their last preference. A first place vote will count for three points, a second place vote will count for two points and a third place vote will count for one point. Voters must rank all three candidates for their ballot to be valid.
