Interested in trying out for USATH? Chicago Inter HC and NYC THC to host clinic September 8th

Sept. 05, 2012, 12 a.m. (ET)

After receiving great interest and excitement from individuals nation-wide about handball in the London Olympics, prominent USA clubs Chicago Inter HC and NYC THC will host clinics on September 8 for individuals interested in starting handball. Further information can be found on Chicago Inter's site, and the direct event link is listed here:

Bini Shkumbin of NYC THC expressed, "We are only eight (8) days away from the open practice on September 8 from 3-9 pm. I hope you are excited and ready for a fun, challenging and memorable tryout.

The location of the tryout is  Park West HS 525W 50th Street between 10 and 11 Ave, and the gym is located on the 5th floor. Please bring sneakers, a t-shirt/shorts and water. There are no showers in the school.  We will see you there at 3pm.  This is a FREE open session for all new players.

After evaluation we will determine placement of players for the season. During practice we will have 6 members/coaches guide you, and help you with any questions you might have.  We also cooperate with USATH, the national governing body of handball in USA where we work in finding new talent who would join more rigorous regional training camps for further evaluation and placement in the NT Pools.

Such camps, most likely next spring (March/April) will be hosted by our club, but we would bring a USATH delegate to co-run it. For those who have aspirations in becoming a member of US National team, this is the best place to start.

Looking forward to meeting you all, and to have a great practice!"
