USATH Technical Director, Mariusz Wartalowicz, stated “I am satisfied with the outcome of the selection process and confident that our newly appointed coaches, Christian Latullipe and Michaeal Tilton, will provide leadership and guidance that our players need and deserve and in turn leverage our chances for better performance than experienced last fall in Guadalajara. Also, with 2012 Pan American Championships we are closing the 2009-2012 Olympic cycle and begin to look into next quad for players who will become core of 2015 Pan American games in Toronto and potentially 2016 Rio Team.”

Danny Kimmich, who has replaced Thomas Fitzgerald as an athlete representative for this particular selection, added that "The newcomers have shown tremendous promise on their respective clubs and they will be anxious to make their mark on the Senior Men's National Team. I wish all of the players best of luck during their preparation for the upcoming Pan Am Championship."

Senior MNT Head Coach, Christian Latulippe, mentioned that, “As of today, I feel very confident that the team selected by the committee has as much talents and skills as any other team beside the top 3 teams (Brazil, Argentina and Chile).  The challenge for the coaching staff and the players is to transform our abilities in unity and a team. The new faces need to bring their excitement, desire and understand what could be their role today and where they need to be tomorrow. The veteran and more experience players need to pave the way and take their responsibilities. As Henry Ford once said: "Failure is the opportunity to begin again, more intelligently."  We have now a new opportunity.”
