Former USA Team Handball Men's National Team Head Coach Darrick Heath and Assistant Coach Wade Sutton have both volunteered to support the USATH effort to select the Men's National Team for the upcoming Pan Am Team Handball Federation Championships in Argentina next month.

Heath indicated, "I am eagerly looking forward to assisting Head Coach Christian Latulippe and Assistant Coach Mike Tilton in picking the best possible team for the Pan Am Championships. I offer my congratulations to both coaches. I know both gentlemen and I know they will lead with respect and class. I endorse and support both coaches." Sutton also was quick to volunteer his time to support the effort. "I will do everything I can to help the Men's National Team."

General Manager Dave Gascon was grateful to have both Heath and Sutton involved in the process. "Darrick and Wade are truly team players and people I really respect and admire for their commitment to the sport and the athletes. They were the leaders of the Pan Am Games MNT in Guadalajara last year. They know all the players in the pool and have coached those who played in the Pan Am Games and the two qualifiers. I have spent significant time with both men and they are committed handball players and coaches. Darrick is also quite active as a referee. Both are among the essential leaders of our sport in the USA, and I am very happy to have them involved with the selection of our Men's National Team."
