"The tryouts were great. It really couldn't have run any better," said Finley.

After the tryouts concluded, the Referee Clinic saw 10 participants master the details of team handball officiating on Jan. 25. Many students of the clinic are on their way to becoming referees.

The tryouts and clinics capped off a week filled with sharing handball knowledge. Before the tryouts, Finley and Regional Coach Marko Brezic visited the Boys & Girls Club of San Pedro to work with the kids and practice.
