Jennie Choi 
General Membership Director

Jennie Choi is the Founder and President of JindoCare Solutions, a service-disabled veteran-owned small business that provides innovative business solutions to a wide variety of public and private sector customers. She is also the founder of Vertex Team Sports, a nonprofit organization focused on providing youth and amateur-based sports programs.

Jennie first became exposed to team handball while attending the United States Military Academy at West Point. As a cadet, she played for four years from 2001-2005 and was elected as a team captain her senior year. The team won the College National Championships in 2002, 2003, and 2005. In 2002, she was selected to the USA Junior National Team to compete in the Pan American Championships, but could not participate due to mandatory military training requirements. In May 2005, Jennie graduated from West Point and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army. After her Officers' Basic Course, she was accepted into the Army's World Class Athlete Program and selected to the USA Team Handball women's residency program at SUNY Cortland from December 2005 to July 2007. During her time on the Women's National Team, she was given the opportunity to play for the Swedish Division I team, GF Kroppskultur, for four months. After the 2007 qualification season, she was assigned to an infantry battalion at Fort Carson, Colo. and deployed to Baghdad and Mosul, Iraq from December 2007 to February 2009, where she served as her unit's logistics and public affairs officer. Upon returning to the U.S., Jennie was assigned to a three-star General Command and served on the staff at Fort McPherson, Ga., managing various logistical support mission for contingency operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other countries throughout the Middle East and Africa.

In August 2010, Jennie left the Army and began her studies at Columbia Business School in New York City, where she worked on consulting projects for NBCUniversal, LinkedIn, Starbucks Argentina, Sony Music Entertainment, MSNBC, and numerous start-up companies. She was also a President for the Columbia University Harlem Tutorial Program and Vice President of the Sports Business Association. In May 2012, Jennie earned her MBA and currently resides in Austin, Texas. In addition to starting JindoCore Solutions and Vertex Team Sports, she also serves as the treasurer and on the board of directors for the West Point Society of Central Texas.
