Feb 10 USA Taekwondo announces honorary Team Leader, Team Manager opportunities

USA Taekwondo today announced that it is offering an opportunity for interested individuals who would like to travel with our U.S. National Youth Olympic Team athletes and the USA Taekwondo National Junior National Team to Taipei City, Taipei.  USAT will select four persons who have the following titles: Honorary Team Leader, USA Taekwondo Youth Olympic Team; Honorary Team Manager, USA Taekwondo Youth Olympic Team; Honorary Team Leader, USA Taekwondo Junior National Team; Honorary Team Manager, USA Taekwondo Junior National Team.

In order to be considered for these positions, you must be willing to contribute a minimum of $10 thousand each. Those with the highest bids will be selected to participate. In return, USA Taekwondo will make your flight arrangements, hotel arrangements with our National Teams, and will provide three meals per day during each of the two events. Additionally, you will be provided with credentials that will allow you access to the competitions.

Funds not spent on the above-mentioned items will be used to defray the cost of the Junior National Team expenses. The Youth Olympic Games Qualification Tournament and the Junior World Championships take place during the middle of March 2014.

Bids must be received not later than March 3, 2014, in order to make all of the arrangements and to announce the selectees. Bids not accepted will be returned to those persons not selected.
