USA Taekwondo welcomes two new staff members

USA Taekwondo is pleased to announce the hiring of Events and High Performance Manager Stacy Miller-Andrews and Membership Services Manager Joy Grise.

“We are excited to have two new additions to our staff here in Colorado Springs,” said USAT CEO Bruce Harris. “We feel that the experience and knowledge that Stacy and Joy bring to the table will be extremely beneficial to our membership, coaches, National Teams and referees alike.”

Reporting to the High Performance and National Events Directors, Miller-Andrews will manage athlete camps, national events and State Championships, and she will serve as the point of contact for registration and sanctions.

Grise is responsible for member registrations for athletes, coaches and referees, Global Athlete Licenses, Referee Seminars and Coaching Seminars. As the Membership Services Manager, Grise reports directly to the CEO.

Miller-Andrews joins USAT after 11 years at the U.S. Olympic Committee where she worked most recently as the Athlete Services Coordinator. There, Miller-Andrews participated in five Olympics and Paralympic Games in various positions involved with volunteers, donors, sponsors, athletes, coaches and VIPs. She also served as a Manager of Team Processing for the London 2012 Paralympic Games including apparel distribution, volunteer management, customer service and logistics for more than 600 members of Team USA. Miller-Andrews graduated from the University of Denver with a degree in Public Policy and Social Service.

Grise has experience in the Olympic Movement as well as with various non-profits. A former administrative assistant at USA Field Hockey, Grise has 20 years of experience in sales and customer service for the Sport Corporation of Colorado and an additional 15 years in office management. She graduated with a degree in communications from the University of Colorado.
