For the fourth consecutive year, the U.S. Open has received a G-2 rating from the World Taekwondo Federation. A G-2 rating means that prestigious international opens such as the U.S. Open carry more weight toward world-ranking points for participants of those events. The 2012 U.S. Open will be held Feb. 21-24 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Below is some pertinent information and important deadlines leading up to the event.
PAYMENT
In order to receive the "Early Kick" discounted registration fee ($100 for first event/$25 for each additional event) payment must be made through the Hang-A-Star system (www.usat.hangastar.com) by Tuesday, January 31st. In order to avoid delays at check-in/weigh-in, participants should upload their black belt certificate and photo to the USAT membership profile before arriving in Las Vegas.
