Team USA earns two golds at first day of 2012 WTF

World Poomsae Taekwondo Championships

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., Dec. 6, 2012 –Noreen Thackery (Fresno, Calif.) earned gold in the 3rd Master division, while Jason Hwang (Alta Loma, Calif.) and Claire Kim (Alta Loma, Calif.) won gold in Second Pair on Dec. 6 at the first day of the 2012 WTF World Poomsae Taekwondo Championships in Tunja, Colombia.

Chantha Hao (Coppell, Texas) and Long Nguyen (San Jose, Calif.) took sixth in 3rd Master and Senior Men’s Freestyle, respectively. In the Junior division, Ryan Tucker (Torrance, Calif.) finished seventh, while Stephany Kim (Irvine, Calif.) reached the semi-finals.
