USOC AAC AND USAT AAC ELECTIONS NOW OPEN

Consistent with the November 13, 2012 announcement, the 2013-16 USOC Athletes’ Advisory Council and USA Taekwondo Athletes’ Advisory Council elections are now open.  Given that the voting pools are different, there are two different ballots which are attached below.  Eligibility for voting is as follows and is also included on the ballots:

USOC AAC Election

Individuals eligible to vote must have represented the United States as an athlete in the Olympic Games, the Pan American Games, World Championships or other major international competitions (Operation Gold events) in the sport of Taekwondo within the ten (10) year period prior to December 31, 2012.  In addition, an athlete must by 18 years of age by December 31, 2012.

USOC AAC Ballot 

USAT AAC Election 

Individuals eligible to vote must have (i) represented the United States as an athlete in the Olympic Games, the Pan American Games, World Championships or other major international competitions (Operation Gold events) in the sport of Taekwondo within the ten (10) year period prior to December 31, 2012, OR (ii) have competed in and finished in the top half of USAT’s 2011 or 2012 National Championships as an athlete.  In addition, an athlete must by 18 years of age by December 31, 2012.  Finally, individuals must have been a member of USAT by October 16, 2012.

Information on how to submit ballots by the deadline of 11:59pm MDT on December 16, 2012 is included on the ballots.
