USA Taekwondo is Recruiting New Members for the Pool of Judicial Committee Appointed Hearing Panels

April 16, 2012, 1:27 p.m. (ET)

Per Section 9.15(b) of USA Taekwondo’s (USAT) Bylaws, USAT’s Judicial Committee shall “identify individuals who would be fair and impartial and who would have the qualifications and ability to serve on hearing panels.”  Further, the Judicial Committee shall “appoint a panel to hear and render a decision, on grievances and disciplinary matters.”

In an effort to assist USAT’s Judicial Committee with expanding its pool of potential hearing panel members, USAT is seeking qualified candidates who would like to be considered to serve on Judicial Committee appointed hearing panels.  This is a volunteer role with an annual time commitment to be determined based on the number of grievances filed with USAT and the number of individuals included in the hearing panel pool.  Interested individuals do not need to be attorneys but they should have a general understanding of due process and hearing procedures.  In addition, hearing panel members must have the ability to be fair and impartial on all matters.

Interested candidates should send a statement of interest along with their resume or CV by fax or email to:
