July 31, 2009, 3:50 p.m. (ET)

Notice to USAT Members:

The WTF has recently announced that the LaJust electronic body protector scoring system will be used at the upcoming World Championships in Copenhagen.  Likewise, PATU will be using the LaJust system at the Junior Pan Am Championships this November in El Salvador.  In order to ensure that our athletes become adept with the LaJust scoring system to perform at their maximum abilities at these major international events, the upcoming U-24 Team Trials on Aug. 21, and the Junior National Team Trials/Fight Off on Aug. 22-23, will be using the LaJust electronic scoring system.  Electronic hogus will be provided by USAT and LaJust for use at these events.  The use of LaJust sensor socks will be required.  For those who have not yet purchased the LaJust system sensor socks, they will be available for purchase at the event for $40.  These socks can be used at all future events where the LaJust system is utilized.
