Olympian Steven Lopez on Minute Maid Packaging
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Two-time Olympic Gold Medalist Steven Lopez is popping up all over store shelves. First it was on the Coca-Cola collectible Fridgepacks where Steven is featured with LeBron James (USA basketball), Shawn Johnson (gymnastics) and Sanya Richards (track &field) and now it is on the side of Minute Maid juice cartons.
Lopez is prominently featured on the side panel of Minute Maid Original Orange Juice with Calcium Low Pulp cartons and Minute Maid Fruit Punch cartons. He is pictured holding a glass of orange juice and fruit punch respectively, with a short bio on this most decorated athlete in Taekwondo history.
"It is so cool to be on the side panels of these two cartons," said Lopez of Sugar Land, Texas. "It is a little weird going into stores and seeing my face on the side of the Coca-Cola Fridgepacks and now the orange juice and fruit punch cartons, but at the same time I am very honored to be a part of the Coca-Cola Family. It is a dream come true and I hope everyone will go out and purchase these great products."
The Minute Maid Orange Juice and Fruit Punch cartons hit store shelves on June 1, while the Coca-Cola Fridgepacks were released on May 19.
