Former U.S. National Team member Michael Tang (Boston, Mass.) has been appointed to the position of Regional Programs and Development Advisor for USA Taekwondo. In this role, Tang will formulate regional programs and development efforts for the New England Region.

"Coach Tang has been a loyal and active USAT member for many years," stated USA Taekwondo CEO David Askinas. "We have worked with him before on certain media projects and he has been active in creating successful local and regional athlete development programs. We are looking to tap into Michael's expertise in this area and in fundraising to explore how to apply a number of these concepts to a national framework."
