2014 USATT Tournament Guide

2014 Tournament Guide

The new Tournament Guide is now available on the USATT web site. Significant changes:

Chapter 3 – Tournament Sanction. The Star rating system for tournaments has been further revised. The Sanction Request Form, downloadable in Chapter 10, automatically calculates star ratings.

Traditional tournaments are not longer given protection in sanctioning.

Entry blanks must now include the ball material as celluloid (the traditional ball) or non-celluloid (the new standard). Both are authorized for tournament play.

Chapter 4 – Duties of Officials and Playing Conditions. USATT is initiating a Regional Referee Qualification.

Chapter 12 – Major Tournaments. Regional Referee is mentioned for 3 and 4 Star events and the US Open Team Championship and the NATT Team tournament are deleted.
