Kagin Lee began playing table tennis at the Baton Rouge Table Tennis Club while he was a high school student. After becoming an occasional tournament player and coach, he became more involved with the sport as a frequent tournament referee, director, and umpire starting in 2003. He has served as a tournament official in over 100 competitions.
As the current Vice President External Affairs of the National Collegiate Table Tennis Association, Kagin does ongoing work with the NCTTA league and directs efforts to raise the profile of college table tennis. NCTTA is the governing body of college table tennis in the US and Canada.
Kagin lives in Chicago, Illinois. He is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis with degrees in physics and electrical engineering, and is a software engineer by profession.
