USA Table Tennis – Position Opening: Paralympic Program Manager

SUMMARY: USA Table Tennis is seeking to fill a part-time position as a Paralympic Program Manager.
The position may be filled remotely from the National Office in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Manage all aspects of the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency USATT Para athlete pool
  • Manage all aspects of the Selection Procedures with the High Performance Committee (HPC) and the U.S. Olympic Committee and PNT Coach
  • Manage all aspects of the entry process for international competitions for athletes, coaches (andaccompanying family members) and Personal Care Assistants (PCA)
  • Manage all aspects of air flight arrangements, hotel and ground transportation needs for domestic and international competitions and training camps – payments are coordinated with the National Office / CFO.
  • Manage all aspects of National Team Codes of Conduct / sponsor apparel / classification needs for the Para program working with the PNT Coach
  • Manage all aspects of the Paralympic Games participation in conjunction with the ITTF, the USOC and the PNT Coach
  • Manage communications and promotions of USATT Para programs working with the Magazine Editor, the Webmaster and USATT E-Newsletter Editor
  • Communicate directly with the PNT Coach, the HPC, USATT National Office Staff, the athletes,USOC and ITTF as needed
  • Perform other duties as requested by the HPC, the PNT Coach and the High Performance Director / Technical Director
SALARY and BENEFITS:
  • $1,600 per month plus phone and related expenses
  • Possible travel in support of domestic competition and training camps
QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED: College degree, understanding of disabilities and classification systems, previous experience working with disabled populations, knowledge of the sport of table tennis
